Administrator password problems

Expand Post »
My son changed my password and forgot it. I am the only administrator, therefore we can't make any changes to certain items. Anyone had this problem? Thanks.

Re: Administrator password problems

First I don't use passwords for my winxp so not sure if this works ,but try booting into safe mode and log on as the real admin that showes up in safe mode and see if you can use it to make changes to your profile.
,,,,
To get to safe mode use the F8 key while booting the machine. Detailed instructions from here :-

Do you know anybody who has a copy of ERD Commander? This has an option to reset the Admin password.
