deleting .dll files

How to delete .dll files especially those which remain after uninstallation of software like realplayer

sometimes there is an installation log file that lists all the files installed so you can searchand delete but with DLL files be carefull as sometimes they are used by other programs which need them.

better don't delete them if they are not causing problem with your system..

If u want to delete\rename files that can't be deleted..,Use Unlocker

Hi

As mentioned by some of the posters it is highly recommended that you rather not fiddle with dll files.

However if the dll file is part of Nero witch you already uninstalled and it left some dll files witch you want to delete make sure the files isnt Read Only.

Right click the files or folder and uncheck the Read Only check box.
If It stil doesnt want to delete you might want to download the Unlocker Application to force delete the file.
