Windows XP freeze and windows live quick time

Hello everyone,
I'm new at this so please be gentle.
When ever I try to add a photo to something, (ie facebook or E mail), 'My pictures' starts up but freezes my computer completely. I have 'Process Explorer' running and when I check out whats taking up all my space it's showing "Windows live quick time" hogging all my Memory. When I uninstalled my Apple software (Itunes and Quicktime) My photos fairly flew onto facebook ect...But then I had to reinstall it so I could use My I pod Touch. And back again to the freeze. Any Ideas?

while I don't know specifically about this issue, you may be able to get rid of it by updating all of your software (if it is actually a bug it should get fixed eventually).

everything has been updated. Still no go.

ok, well as a workaround do you want to try some other browsers?

You might need more RAM. Do you know how much you have? If there isn't a lot, Windows will write to a page/swap file on the hard drive. This greatly reduces performance.
