XP control panel

Expand Post »
I have a power off problem with Windows XP. Recommendations I have found suggest going into Control Panel and selecting "Performance and Maintenance." My problem, I don't have such an icon labeled Performance and Maintenance in my control panel.

Re: XP control panel

You must have 'Classic View' enabled for Control Panel, rather than 'Category View'. If so, you only need to select 'Power Options'

Re: XP control panel

You're looking at "Category View" I believe. In the left pane select "Classic View" and it should bring up all the Icons.
