Password protect

Expand Post »
Hi guys

I have a rather simple question. Is there a free full version app that I can use to password protect only certain folder with its content. The files is local and I only have one account.

Any advice is appreciated.

Regards

Re: Password protect

Hi
Thanks for the information. It appears that I'll have to install another application in order to password protect my folders. As for my Office files I can set a password. Meaning that before one can open and or modify the file they'll have to supply a password.

To do so open the file (word, excel etc) click on safe as> click on the tools tab> Click on General Options> Provide a Password in the open space and safe the file.

This is the password you'll have to supply when you reopen the Document the next time.

Cheers

Re: Password protect

XP Pro or Home?

Also office passwords are crap, can be creacked in about 10 seconds.
