how to get unplug/eject hardware option

how do i add the unplug/eject hardware option to my toolbar?

you mean in the task tray? It should be there automatically, check that Windows hasn't hidden it, by clicking on the < arrow. From the top of my head I don't know if u can completely suppress it, but it only appears when u have an external device plugged in.
