OK really need some advice

ok i just got this brand new compaq persario 2.5 ghz pentium 4 pocessor and i just recently looked under the hood of the machine and it has no AGP slot yet there is a space for it on the mobo i was just wondering if one could be put in or even if i could takke out the mobo i have in there now and put a new one in plz help me out cause now im very depressed during x-mas cause now i cant play half the games im getting such as SWG and BF1942 with out it lagging
