Hi all
my first post. Windows XP . Turn computer on an at starts up get as far as black screen with xp and the blue sweeping bar and it just dose this for an hour. It also wil not start in safe mode dose the same thing. Put in the recovery disc and ran that still no joy. Now just starching head and useing I phone . Lol

Try to reformat it. Just insert the windows CD. If you do not want to reformat just fix it using the fix option in the CD. I hope I helped you.
