internet explorer won't connect

Expand Post »
After running Spyhunter and removing several ad pop-ups my IE6 (internet explorer) won’t connect to the internet .

I had to install netscape to connect to the internet..

I tried to re-install IE6 but it stopped ½ way with an error and won’t install

I'm now using NETSCAPE until I find out what happened …

ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM ?

Re: internet explorer won't connect

is it a case of it not being able to connect to the internet, or can it not load web pages?

Re: internet explorer won't connect

i had the same problem. i ran hijackthis (read another post for help on that) and everything worked fine and dandy. you probably have something nasty stuck in there...but find hijackthis (not sure exactly where, but make sure its from another forum here) run it (follow instructions CAREFULLY) and everything should be ok.
