Note that when u join a computer to a WinServer 2003 domain,
The computer becomes a part of Domain and the users using
that computer can access the resources of AD(Active Directory) eg.
Printer, Data and other stuff.
When u will join ur computer to WinServer 2003 domain, a
domain user profile will be created in ur computer which will be used to log u into ur computer as a domain user.
Otherwise I dont think the ur desktop or any other folder
will have any effect if u join this computer to domain.
Even after joining ur computer to domain, u will have the option to log into ur computer either as a domain user or a local user.
You will only have problem accessing ur programs if the program file
gets corrupted, otherwise u wont have problems.
I hope this is clear
