Set up remote access

I already have a windows 2003 server set up and it is currently being used for remote access by other domain users. I am new at this remote access thing. Can someone please tell me how to set up remote access for a client that would probably be using it from another state while traveling? OS = xp

I went with running my RDP session via a SSH tunnel. Below are links on how to setup cygwin or CopSSH and putty to accomplish this:

Cygwin setup of OpenSSH – http://lifehacker.com/205090/geek-to-live--set-up-a-personal-home-ssh-server

This is a good write up and how to use copSSH - http://theillustratednetwork.mvps.org/Ssh/RemoteDesktopSSH.html

After you choose OpenSSH or copSSH you will have to use putty to create the tunnel, this is well documented on how to do that - http://theillustratednetwork.mvps.org/Ssh/RemoteDesktopSSH.html#Install_and_configure_PuTTY
