my friends computer got hit with 38 virus's it had coolwwwebsearch on it, about:blank tons of stuff. he didn't have any kind of virus protection.
so I put adawarese, spybot s&d and AVG, than ran all, rebooted in safe mode and did it again rebooted again. ran everything one more time and ran CWshredder and hijack this removed the bad stuff but his wallpaper settings are still missing. how can I get these back? its win 2000 pro.(this was the reason he brought it in to me.)
