Hotmail will not open inbox please help!!

I know everyone seems to have this problem but I am not sure how to solve it.

I have windows 2000 professional as my system and internet explorer(not sure which version) but it will not allow me to see my hotmail inbox. I have tried the login fixer file and that didnt work. I wonder if anyone knows how to go into the internet options and change them so that it doesnt block whatever it is blocking.

Not sure what to do but this is driving me nuts!!!

It lets me open hotmail and attempts to sign in but wont do anything after that. Just a blank screen.

Hmm.. i had this problem before i installed windows XP, i think i installed mozilla firefox and it worked on that, also have a look on windows update from www.microsoft.com for any updates, failing that again! try reinstalling internet explorer, you can find it on the microsoft website.

Mostly i use firefox now apart from windows updates so i can't offer you any help on the internet options, sorry.
