I have just recently installled a fresh version of Server 2003 Standard. My problem is that I cannot get to Windows Update to check for patches. For that matter I cannot load any Microsoft.com web sites in general. I can browse the web everywhere else but there, even Virus protection sites such as Network Associates and McAfee. I downgraded my Security settings in IE to medium to no avail. I have also had thoughts of it being hardware related due my hub and firewall (crossover cable vs straight through), but that doesn't seem to be it either. I have checked my host files thinking that maybe something got Hijacked, but on a fresh intall you wouldn't think so. Those were clean as well. I have tried all the various othere Windows Update sites and those do not load either. Does anyone have any suggestions. Begining to get a bit frustrated with such an easy task.
