Blue screen of death!! Help!!!

ok so im surfing the web and BOOM!! my comp goes to a blue screen saying

GATHERING_MACHINE_EXEPTION

...if this is first time restart. if not follow these instructions...


check to make sure hardware and software are propelrl installed and updated

if contnue disable bios memory like caching and shadowing




stop: 0x0000009c (0x00000004, 0x80545ff0,0x b2000000, 0x00070fof)

beginning physical memory dump



this isnt the first time it happened

A customer of mine is dealing with the same problem right now. at first we thought he was cursed, because the computer works fine here at my shop, but acts up at his house.

Found out he was using extension cords with a cheap power strip which was causing bad grounds or something. the power was so insufficient that at times the computer would not even detect the hard drive.

That must be it i have one of those adapters that convert a 3 prong plug into a 2 prong plug and it is a little cheap soo at time it hangs out of the outlet a little. would you reckon that is the prob
