CRC error when copying MP3 from Cd

Hello all,

I recently reformatted my computer and installed XP in place of 2000. In order to save my library of music, I burned the mp3s to CDs, and now when trying to save tehm from teh cd to the computer again, I'm getting a cyclic redundancy check error on SOME of the songs. Any ideas why or how to fix this?

I have a Pent 4, 120 GB harddrive, 512 RAM, etc etc.

Thanks in advance. :)

Most likely, you can't fix them. CRC errors usually mean that the source files (in your case, some of the MP3s you burned to CDs) are corrupted. :(

Did you do a verify operation on the CDs after the burns? If so, that probably would have told you at the time that some of files didn't transfer/burn correctly.
