Windows Explorer /e,/n, doesn't work

Expand Post »
Hi All:
Have a problem with Win Explorer. This is a new machine, just setting it up. Using Win XP Pro SP 1 and IE6 SP2. When I open windows explorer with the /e,/n, C:\ switches I do not get a + or - sign beside my Drive C: (see the pic.) This should expand the folders under drive C: but it doesn't. There are 152 folder and 11 files in the root directory. I have to double click on one of the folders in the right pane in order to get that one folder to show up in the left pane. At this point I also get the plus sign beside Drive C: so that I can expand it and see the folders in the left side. Even leaving the switches out still doesn't give me the + or - sign beside the drive. The other way to get the plus sign beside the Drive C tag is to turn sharing on or off or something drastic like that. Pressing F5 on it's own doesn't do it. Hope someone has some ideas of what is what
Thanks in advance
Raj
