System Restore

Hey ive been tryin to Recover My System by using Hp pc system recovery....ive tried doin that and i keep gettin errors that some file is missing..and then when i restart my comp at the beginning i press f 10 to try recovering it from there and it wont work either...so i dont kno what else to do.. :-|

Hi Shlag, welcome to DaniWeb :D

If OS is XP, try an in-place upgrade (aka repair installation); instructions can be found here:

Then try using System Restore.

Hmmmm...I Never Got The CD with the comp..and in the instruction's it says to insert a cd :-|

Your computer may have come with the OS on a hidden partition; you should have instructions, either on the computer or with the documentation that came with it, on how to create a bootable CD from there.
