i tried to change my desktop wallpaper today and i keep getting this message: "internet explorer cannot find the active desktop html file. this file is needed for your active desktop. -to turn off active desktop, click OK"
- so i went on google and did a search for the problem, i got a whole bunch of stuff, but none helped. :cry:
any1 have any ideas about this? ur post are appreciated :lol:
i solved the problem,
somehow 'my current home page' got enabled in the customize desktop. i just unchecked the box and that seemed to solve the problem.

click on start menu THEN HIT run and type regsvr32 /i Mshtml.dll AFTER THAT HIT OK BOTTON THEN AGAIN OK BOTTON AND THAT'S ALL.
THIS TIP WORKS WITH MOST PC OS.
