Computer doesn't shut down

Expand Post »
Every time I try to shut down my computer it just does nothing and goes back to the original main screen. It doesn't freeze or do anything malicious, it just goes back to a normal operting computer. However about 1 in 5 times it does turn off as if nothing ever went wrong.

Re: Computer doesn't shut down
Hi Steve, check for the processes in Task Manager that are not ending. Alternatively, you can shutdown your pc by refering commands mentioned on: http://www.microsoft.com/resources/d....mspx?mfr=true
