Internet Permissions Windows XP

Expand Post »
Hi everyone. Now, I'm sure there's a simple way to solve this, and I'm just brain fading... lol. I am running a machine with Windows XP Professional and was wondering if there was a way to limit an individual user's internet access. I know there's a "content advisor" or whatever, but that effects every user..... i think...... Basically, all i want to do is allow everyone on the machine full internet access except for one user. If that makes sense........ :-| Thanks!

Re: Internet Permissions Windows XP

If the user is a newb internet user you can go into add/remove programs, click the windows components button, and uncheck internet explorer. This "removes" internet explorer. I believe you can still use windows explorer to go to websites, also if you have another browser you can use that. As far as restriction goes:

www.access-control-software.com

http://www.aupaction.com/

http://www.codework.com

These programs would work well.
