wireless network connection

I have a laptop that has the ablility to have a wireless connection and it did... one day it just stopped working and now it will not work.
I know that the WAP is okay, because it is still active.

Help.

have you reset the router, and the card, are you getting dhcp through the card? Can you ping the router?

If you tried everything and nothing worked then restart the router. Had the same problem earlier today and I unplugged my Netgear router for a few minutes, reconnected, and everything went back to normal.
