S-Video display problem

I have a fairly new Sanyo 20" flat screen and it has an s-video input in the back. I also have a Presario 2100 Laptop also quite new with s-video in back. When I connect my laptop to the T.V. via s-video cable the most I can get from the T.V. is a blue screen.
I'm guessing that the T.V. is detecting the cable, but it's not displaying anything from my computer. I have tried desktop properties->settings to try to switch the display: [which currently reads (Mulyiple Monitors) on RADEON IGP 320M] to something that would resemble T.V. display but there's no other options in that pull down menu.

How can I get my T.V. to display what's on my laptop?

Make sure that the "Extend my windows desktop onto this monitor" option is checked for both monitors.
