XP start menu problem

Expand Post »
I don't know how it happened (obviously) but my XP start menu is no longer the blue and green bar. Instead, it is back to being grey with the little "windows" icon on the start button (like it is in previous versions). There is no bouncing green arrow or anything anymore. When you click on start, it takes you to the old grey menu. Does anyone know how I can get it back to they way it "should" be for Windows XP? I have tried right clicking the start menu and going through properties... but it doesn't change it back. To my knowledge, no new programs were installed to cause this problem, it just turned this way about a week ago on start up.

Re: XP start menu problem

Right click on the TOOLBAR (not trying to be rude),not the button, and goto properties there, click on the start menu tab and make sure its not in classic mode
