XP command prompt

Hi

When i click Command Prompt (windows XP), the window opens and closes immediately. How can i arrange this please?

To get to the command prompt, open the start menu and click 'run.' In the text box, type 'cmd'.

If that doesn't work, then consider that you may have a virus, or spyware that is preventing it, so you should scan for them; also, you could have a corrupted file.

Actually. CMD is different than command prompt. But that's a good thing. CMD is a more actual "DOS Emulation Environment". Where as Command Prompt has limited abilities.

But you're probably looking at a virus
