Want To Edit "New" Menu

You know that menu when u right click on the desktop and its named "New" and u can pick what file u want to be created, well i was wondering is there anyway that u can edit that menu so u can take delete some file choices and maybe add some.

also, technically... the menu when you right click is called the "context menu"
