Outlook 2003 -> Server 2003

Expand Post »
Hey everybody,

I have an issue with my email, i can recieve but i cannot send.
When i click send/receive i get the following message returned:

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Subject: RE: test
Sent: 11/01/2006 11:22

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

<email address> on 11/01/2006 11:22
550 Recipient Rejected: Relay not allowed

When i try the "Test Account Settings" button within the outlook 2003 email accounts page i get:

Send test e-mail message: Unable to send test Message. Please verify the E-mail Address field.

I am running WinXP accross a LAN with a Win 2003 Svr as a gateway. The strange thing is it was working fine up until a couple of days ago when the Server crashed and needed to be re-built.
I have checked and re-checked my email account settings and everything seems to be correct and as it was before the re-build.

Have a forgotten something server side?

Cheers,
Rich
