car dvd player can not display pictures

My car has a Kenwood KVT-747DVD 7 whose screen can’t display pictures, do I have to replace a new DVD unite ?

like most thing when they break, if you want to be able to play dvdsw in you car then yeah you will need to buy a new one to do so .
did you try a disk cleaner ,it may be as simple as a dirty eye,they can be bought at your local car audio shop,and the shop may even do a cleaning for a small fee or even check out the drive for you .they will for sure be able to sell you a new one .
