User Accounts (Cannot Access!!)

Hey...im not really sure when this happend but its been this way for a very long time now and its P1ssing me off..anyways i am using windows xp home edition and when i click the user accounts it clicks and looks like its going to come up but nothing ever comes up...then i try to go in a back way like Run - control userpasswords2 then go in to usersettings and it says i do not have permission to access the user accounts folder but it says i am a administrator and the owner of this computer...any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try booting into Safe Mode, and actually logging in as the Administrator account-- that may yield better results. If not, you've probably got some spyware that has messed around with your setup.

If that seems to have occurred, cut to the chase-- back up your data, and reinstall the OS.
