Windows Booting

Expand Post »
At my boot screen i am always prompted to choose the operating system.
I use only windows xp home edition and it's listed twice.
is there anyway to skip this prompt and go straight to the booting of xp?

Re: Windows Booting

when you get to your desktop, click on start, run, and type msconfig. It should bring up the system configuration utility. You're going to choose the boot.ini tab, and click on check boot paths, it will then say that one of them is incorrect and then ask you to remove it. When that is done, hit apply and then close. You're going to restart your computer, your going to have a system config box come up, just click do not show, and then ok. Everything she be good as new now.
