Check disk problem.

Hi all,
When i boot my pc, check disk utility runs and slow down the booting process to 15 minutes. There is 4 drives in my hdd. Everytime this utility checks my E drive. Why this is happening to me..

Assuming that you shut down normally, this should not happen. It will happen either if you tell the system to do a check on reboot, or if there is a file system problem with the drive. Is this a FAT, or is it an NTFS volume?

Hi rubberman,
First of all i wish you a happy new year. That problem is solved. Last day i can't access into E drive. In properties window, the size of data showing was 0 bytes. So i formatted the drive and then later recovered the data with Easus Data recover. Anyway now everything seems to be ok.
