Windows Media Player- no Library?

Hi there,

I need some help on my Windows Media Player 10 . While everything else works the 2 function that i use most are not functioning. A . Search for Media Files and B. there is no Library ....

Anybody knows what i must do now?

I would try to reinstall it first. Try that and if it doesnt work post back.

i did roll it back and now it doesnt work alltogether . I downloaded this Media Player again and now it says: This version of Windows Media Technologies is incompatible with this version of Windows. For more information, view the information at the Microsoft web site.

whichj doesn't make any sense as i am running windows Xp.
Any suggestions what i could do?
