Thats good ,what was it that you did that worked great ,as there are a few suggestion in this thread ,I tried for 2 days ,and finally gave up and reinstalled winxp to fix the problem.

ok so i have looked to see if i need to start it and it was stared the only noice i here is when i click ok on the, there are no active mix devices available screen my computer is a comaq presario i got this problem when i reinstalled windows

Email removed. Thats not allowed. Check the rules with regard to "keep it on site".

Go here. It will tell you how to identify which model you have and will show you all the drivers for it.

Im having the same problem i reformatted my computer like yesterday installed everything, everything is fine now but my sound isnt working each time i click on "Volume Controle" Says "There are no device mixers available" what can i do? Tryed doing the Start - > Run -> services thinkie everything was on
