KDS Monitor Problems Please Help...

Expand Post »
I have a KDS Visual Sensation VS-7e SVGA monitor.
ya know how when there is a no signal message before you boot up your computer, well that comes in crystal clear in all 3 (red, blue, green) colors. But, when i turn on my machine my desktop is only displayed in a few shades of dark green and black. monitor color, brightness, hue, and contrast have very little effect and video card settings do not help...my other monitor works fine though so it rules out a video card. It may be the cable, does anyone know where i can fing a replacement SVGA cable for this manufacturer???

I fixed it

it appears the RED Positive signal wire was not working and had a break somewhere behing the VGS plug inouts. Knowing this was the problem i chopped off my old monitor cord and mapped the pinouts to corospond with my new monitors wire harness...works great now.
