i have xp pro installed on my computer and it worked fine but then it just decided it wouldnt boot past a black screen, it does the same thing if i boot in safe mode or by using last known good configuration. i have also tried to boot from cd and it begins to but then it just freezes when it says "booting from cd:"
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, please help me.
ps. i can acess my computers hd from other computers on my network whilst at the black screen.
