Windows Installer problems

Expand Post »
I get an error message saying windows installer is trying to configure microsoft office 2000 and asks me to put the cd. The problem is office 2000 was preloaded for me when I bought the computer. How do I find out if the whole product was loaded?
Hope you can help. I am running XP Pro edition.
Thanks in advance. :-| :-| :-| :-|

Re: Windows Installer problems

What are you trying to do when the message appears? Did your system come with any CD-ROM's for reinstalling software?

It usually happens when I first turn the computer on. I can click several times to cancel and eventually it goes away. I didn't get any disks to re-install only XP disk.
Hope you can think of something to help. Thanks.
