booting problem with XP

I have to use the CD every time I wnat to open win XP.I went to Bios and change the pboot priotirity to Hd. No results.

When you boot the computer without the cd, what error do you see?

I think in your system operating system need to be re installed

It could be your mbr (master boot record) on the hard disk is corrupted. Google mbr and how to recover to find out more. Clearly a full reinstall will repair the mbr but there are simpler methods!
