Problem with Yahoo chat applet.

Expand Post »
I have Installed Windows XP with IE 6.0.2. I have a problem with Yahoo chat. It gave an error message that the MS VM needs to be updated. Tried many options but unsucessful. Finally I removed the MS JVM and installed JRE 1.4.2. But it still didnot work.It still gave the same answer. Then I tried using with Mozilla firefox. i can now open the Chat applet, but I cannot change the rooms inside. When I click on another room, it still remains in the same room.

Can any body help me out. How can I go to other rooms inside the Yahoo Chat application? DO i need to install lower version of JVM..?

Re: Problem with Yahoo chat applet.

MS JVM is no longer supported due to legal issues. As for the JRE you wıll also need the JVM (seperate download from the JRE on suns's sıte). Hope that helps.
