I have posted a similar issue before but now i have figured out a few more things.
I have IBM Thinkpad R52. It had a combo drive(CD-burner+DVD reader) which a got changed to a IBM DVD writer. The problem is , system crashes with a blue screen when I enter a NERO burned DVD and it fails to read SOME of the NERO burned CDs and says that the disk is not formatted. All these disks can be read by other systems.
I went to event viewer and scooped out the two error messages (one for DVDs and one for CDs). I have attached them as *.bmp files.
Please help. I am using Sonic Cd-recording software and i can read and write my DVDs and CDs.
