I have a Toshiba Satellite A65-S1067 laptop with a Realtek 97 sound card.
Lately, after the laptop has been booted up for about 15 minutes, I lose the sound drivers. I downloaded the latest sound drivers from Realtek and after I lose the sound driver, I reinstall it. Then everything is fine. Til the next day when the same thing happens.
When I lose the sound driver, the taskbar gets all funny looking with the Start and items in the system tray and pages that I have open growing in size then everything goes back to looking normal, but the sound is gone.
It's driving me nuts. Does anyone know what is happening?
