Spyware?

Ran into a website that installed a Casino program on my computer. I removed it my Internet Explorer has not worked since. I can open html files with it out on the network, but I cannot use HTTP either internally or externally. I have tried everything. From Type regsvr32 urlmon.dll, to Internet options HTTP 1.1. Also to running adware, and deleting out of the registery. Anyone have any more ideas?

Simple answer - reinstall Internet Explorer!

Quickest way to do that is to install it again from a 'Pooter magazine cover CD, over the top of what's there.

You can even do it from the Windows CD:

Hope that helps!

That you can!

It's worth a look, though, at what's included on magazine Cover CDs. You often find that security update packages are included as well, saving the bother of downloading and installing them.
