My moniter is severly screwed up!

Expand Post »
I came home last night and my brother said the moniter was screwed up. I came out and everything looked fine, but there were waves going up the screen and a buzzing coming out the back. I tried disconnecting the moniter from the computer...and when i turned it on the moniter did the same thing. Next I cut the power to the moniter and turned it back on...same thing. Then I hooked it back up to the computer and now its doing the same thing but the color quality is at 4 bit from an original 32. When I try to set it back it just doesnt do it...and I'm starting to get really confused. Is it definately a mechanical problem...and is there anything I can do?

Try updating your video drivers along with a windows update, it sounds like the video card drivers have gone bad.
