system restore

when try to enter system restore get do not have sufficient security privileges do not know how to change it help would be appriciated

sorry new at this when i try system restore to back up to earlier date to try to get into drive c i brought out a file from backup after that i can not get into drive c not enough security clearance and yes i own computer
