Expand Post »
This problem has been going on for a few days now. The list of actions is always the same, it goes as follows:

Start up>
connect to internet>

after about 20 mins get an error saying generic host process enoutered a problem and needs to close>

network connections stops responding, and none of my browsers can connect

Taking a look in event viewer the description says:

Faulting application svchost.exe,version5.12600.2180, faulting module netapi32.dll, version5.1.2600.2180, fault address 0x0000a3c0

Thats all ive got for now

Re: Generic host pocess error causes network connections to stop responding

This happens to many users right now: Seems to be related to a
new Windows exploit. One of the recent security patches from MS will
fix that already, just run Windows Update and the error should be gone.
