I have installed Windows 2000 Professional on a brand new 60gb HDD. I have also installed Service Pack 4 from the microsoft website. But I still keep getting "svchost.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created". I have also installed Norton AntiVirus 2004 and have scanned several times with no 'viruses' detected. Can anybody help me as to how to get rid of this error as its getting ruddy annoying?:confused:
