How to Bypass IP check in local cable net dialer

Expand Post »
Hi all,
I am using cable net. It has its own dialer which requires username and password to login. My problem is, when i connect internet from the computer from which i started using cable net, it logs in and works fine but when i try to connect it on other computer, it says wrong password. I have legal username and password. Please note that i am not trying to connect internet on both PCs at same time, can anyone help me?. In my opinion the dialer is checking IP of the second PC and when it conflicts it is not allowing me to connect. if this is the case, how can i bypass this check?

Please Help

Ali

Hi Ali

Have you tried ICS (Internet connection sharing.) I have five desktops and a laptop all using one dial up connection. If you would more info on how to set it up let me know
