Size limit notification in outlook 2000

does anyone know if there is a way to notify a user when they are nearing the size limit in outlook 2000? we have notifications through email telling them they've reached the limit and can't send and receive, but i want to be able to notify them when their limit is close so they can delete emails before they can't send and receive. any help is appreciated, thanks.

I don't believe this is possible. Outlook 2000, itself, has no knowledge of the mailbox size. Only your mail server knows this.

If you are using Exchange 2000 in Active Directory for you mail server, heres a link to explain more control including warning levels:-

If you are using Exchange 5.5 in the NT4 domain model try the following link which will guide you towards more control of mailboxes:-

Hope this helps
