Windows Xp Ethernet Controller

I am really confused about this, Whenever I boot up my computer I get Hardware not found: Ethernet Controller. Can anyone tell me what to do ? I have some computer experience but I dont understand what to do here. :sad: thxs for your help in advance.

Generally the Ethernet Controller refers to the Network Interface Card (NIC) so you should have a cd or diskette with drivers for this. Try installing the Network Card drivers this should take care of the error.
