Outlook 2000 multiple account query

Expand Post »
I have 3 accounts in my Outlook 2000 but when I reply to emails they are automatically sent from my default email account. I know how to manually specify which account I want to use for replying, but I often forget to do this, so how do I configure Outlook to automatically reply from the account the email was originally sent to?

I read somewhere that Outlook is already supposed to do this automatically but mine doesn't. Is this because I have POP accounts set up?

Thanks.

Re: Outlook 2000 multiple account query

Once the email is popped to your computer, where it came from is not immediately known to Outlook. It's on your hard drive.

The automatic configuring works when Outlook is interacting with a remote server which has the emails stored on ITS hard disk.
