booting up

well i decided to remove linux from my laptop. so i booted up a freedos floppy and removed the linux partitons. however i also had win2000 installed and wanted to give it the space the linux was useing.
here is my problem. grub was the boot loader and now it will not boot up windows. I assume that parts of it where on the linux partition.
so how do i boot up windows without a boot loader. windows was installed first.

i dont want to reinstall windows. where can i get a boot loader

Boot from the OS cd and go into the recovery console. In there type fixmbr.

Then type fixboot.
And also bootcfg /rebuild

If that doesn't do it for you perform a windows repair.
